Sash Window Mirror

We made this beautiful mirror from a reclaimed Sash Window (one of many we have in stock at Alcove) with new mirror glass panels.  It comes in handy that Gary has got years of experience glazing windows, so can make these mirrors relatively easily and professionally. 

We had this mirror hung over the period fireplace in the shop and here it is in the Customer's home. 

We had visions of it being placed on a large wall, and were very pleasantly surprised to see how great it looks in this smaller hallway space.  It adds tons of light and a focal point without being obtrusive, we love it!

We've made smaller sash window mirrors too, and we will be making one into a glazed top coffee-table, they look really fantastic.

Reclamation and making period features beautiful again is what we're all about at Alcove, we're always up to something new!
