Many period houses have lovely alcoves that just aren't suitable for modern furniture, bookcases fall short of the high ceilings or don't fill the width of the alcove.
We can build you an alcove cupboard with shelves to show off your books or cupboards to hide away your clutter or any combination to suit your needs.   
If you have a lot of large books we can tailor the shelves to the right height so they fit in and look great.
If you have lots of cd's and dvd's, perhaps you'd like shorter shelves to accommodate them.
Perhaps you'd like a beautiful cupboard that is sympathetic to your décor to house the television and entertainment unit.

We don't only fit Alcove cupboards to period properties.  We have also built bespoke bookcases in  modern homes to house a huge book collection, making a feature that wasn't previously there.

Below are some recent photos of where we built a bookcase on top of an old cupboard that a customer already had in their property. By building our bookcase on top and tidying up the existing cupboard the Alcove looked so much more beautiful and the customer was really pleased with the finished effect.  We can't wait to see it adorned with their lovely things!
